Nick Manning

Nick is a British/American man, living with his husband Ron and their dog Mary in Washington DC and New York. He retired from the World Bank some years ago.

Nick’s earlier career was as a social worker and researcher in London.

His short fiction is published in Unleash Lit, the Baltimore Review, Unleash Press, and America’s Future by Washington Writers’ Publishing House. 

Nick was born and raised in the English Fens.

Nick is working haphazardly on an anthology of unnerving but humorous short stories and two novels. The short stories include some exploration of the ancient gods of urban infrastructure. One novel treads slippery ground between dementia and AI and the other is a sequel to Some Family Matters.
